I just spent a couple of hours cleaning link spam off of the gimp ui wiki. What a pain in the ass. Damn online pharmacys paying for people to vandalize other peoples wiki’s. What they need is some insulin, metrazol, electricity, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, ping-pong and amnesia.
I added a bunch of terms to the $wgSpamRegex and hopefully I won’t have as much trouble in the future. Unfortunatly I’m sure that the enemy will copy the email spammers and start misspelling stuff to get past the filters.
